this place was abandoned around 1985 and is truely a ghost town. i went poking around the other day and took a bunch of pictures. i haven't got a garage at the moment so i've been goofing around with photoshop and whatnot.

Vail Pass

the pass was shut down tonight. not really a very big deal, it'll happen several more times over the winter. its just kinda weird for me to see 4 miles of grid-lock way out here and right out my front door.

was just cruising around and stopped in.

exhaust is finished

the smoker's exhaust is dee-you-double-N. 

it took about 4 solid hours to burn it out then another hour to mount it. the mounts were done after the pipe was solid because with all that heat it did warp a little. so once it was cooled off the spring hooks were located and the mid-mount was handled.  

everything clears and it's leak free. 

PS: all of this was done about 2 months ago and i really miss my shop.
